Cookies
What we store on your device, why, and how to say no. Short, because there isn't much of it.
The short version
We set one cookie, and only if you agree to it. Our visitor statistics don't use cookies at all. If you decline, nothing is stored on your device — not a preference cookie, not anything.
What each one does
Cookies we set only with your consent
| Name | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|
cf_attr |
Records which advert or link brought you to the site — a click identifier from Google, Meta, Microsoft or TikTok, and any campaign tags in the address. It tells us which advertising is worth paying for. It holds no name, email or anything about you personally. | 30 days |
If we later add advertising pixels from Google or Meta, they will sit behind this same consent and be listed here before they go live.
Things that aren't cookies
| What | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Plausible Analytics | Counts page views so we know which pages are read. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and cannot identify you or follow you to another website. This is why it runs whether or not you accept — there is nothing to consent to. |
| Your cookie choice | Kept in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, so that declining leaves nothing behind. Clearing your browser data resets it and we'll ask again. |
Changing your mind
You can change your answer at any time — reopen the cookie choice. If you decline after previously accepting, we delete the cookie there and then.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Nothing on this site breaks if you do.
Anything else
Cookies are only part of the picture. How we handle your information more generally — including anything you send us through a form or tell us on the phone — is set out in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice.
