Who we are
Calder Flint Group (“we”, “us”) provides business management, consultancy and advisory services from 64 Bridge Street, Manchester, M3 3BN. We are the data controller for personal data collected through calderflint.group and in the course of our services. Contact: hello@calderflint.group · 0161 570 1791.
What we collect
Enquiries and bookings — name, company, email, phone, the situation you describe, and your preferred call time. Payments — processed by Stripe; we receive your name, email, amount and a payment reference, never your card number. Funding introductions — amount, purpose, company name, turnover and contact details, plus any documents you later choose to share with us. Website — cookieless analytics (Plausible) that record page views without identifying you; advertising cookies are set only if you accept them — see our cookie notice, where you can also change your mind.
Why we use it and the lawful basis
To answer your enquiry and deliver the service you’ve bought (contract). To introduce your business to FCA-authorised lenders and credit brokers when you ask us to (contract and legitimate interest). To keep records required by law and to defend legal claims (legal obligation, legitimate interest). To tell you about our other services (legitimate interests). We work only with limited companies and LLPs, which the privacy rules treat as corporate subscribers, so we rely on legitimate interests rather than asking you to tick a box. Every message has an unsubscribe link and we act on it straight away — you can also object at any time by emailing us. We do not sell personal data.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary: payment processing (Stripe), scheduling and email tools, our CRM, and — only with your instruction — Approvity (our funding platform), the lenders and finance providers on their panel, our own funding partners, and professional advisers involved in your matter. Where you ask us to seek funding, Approvity or a lender may contact you directly about your application. Where formal insolvency, legal or regulated advice is required we work alongside appropriately licensed professionals and share information with them on your instruction. Processors are bound by contract and, where outside the UK, by adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
Commission disclosure
Calder Flint Finance acts as an introducer, not a lender. We introduce businesses to FCA-authorised lenders and credit brokers. Commission may be earned on successful introductions; you may ask us at any time what commission is payable in relation to your introduction.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that go no further: 12 months. Client files: six years after the engagement ends, in line with limitation periods and HMRC requirements. Analytics: aggregated only.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time, by emailing hello@calderflint.group. We reply within one month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
Data is held in access-controlled systems with encryption in transit and at rest. Payment card data never touches our systems.
Cookies
Our analytics are cookieless. If we enable advertising measurement (for example the Meta Pixel) you will be asked before any non-essential cookie is set, and nothing is pre-ticked.
